The Pug Process

I have been working on a new novel and I use colored index cards to block out scenes. When I finish writing a scene I put a river stone over it. This is a picture of the process...with Walter in it, of course, because he is also an inextricable part of the writing process.Here he's saying "STOP WRITING AND TAKE ME FOR A WALK. Oh, and here are your shoes dummy, so be quick about it."

CABIN PUG

Walter loves the cabin. So many creatures to hunt down and eat, which freaks mama out so she hollers! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Also, we watch movies at night, and Walter thinks the TV is a window. This is him barking at Godzilla, who he does not think should be in the cabin. Notice the stuffed animals he has already conquered and strewn around. Godzilla better step off!

NORTHWOODS PUG

Sorry for the long delay! We have been in the great north woods writing and pugging! Walter has taken complete command of the place. He swims in Lake Superior, climbs the big rocks and defends the seagulls from the nasty crows who try to steal their eggs by barking his fool head off at them!!
