Walter and I made USA Today

Getting a pug was the smartest thing I've ever done for my writing career. Walter is asked to be in almost every article written about my books, and it's a good thing too, because as you can see, his head is as big as mine, meaning every photo is twice as big. Plus, not all stories on books get photos, but what newspaper editor could resist publishing this muggins? Forget the redhead, total side note. This picture was taken by Associated Press reporter, Jeff Baenen. I told him to make "high pitched tea-kettle type noises" to get Walter to look at him. Worked pretty good, huh?
