Acropugbat
So the surgeon, who operated on Wally both times, just received Walter's new films, called me and we had a chat. Apparently one of the pins in Walter's leg, the smaller one, might have broken. The good news is it broke AFTER significant scar tissue already formed, so it hasn't shifted a lot. It does mean however Walter has another month of Scamperland, so I built him a new one. I call it "PUG PEN" Walter seems to be enjoying it...here he doing whatever it takes to gnaw on his new Pug Pen bone!

That looks like a fine pen. Us pugs dont' need a lot of room - we just need a lot of love :)
That is a fine Pug Pen. I hope Walter hasn't been reading my "Disobediance" lessons and learned how to get out of there. As for the pin, will it have to come out? since it is broken?
Walter looks very cute with his butt in the air and chewing on his bone.
Keep up the great work.

We'll cross our paws since we all know how much Walter loves to be confined to Scamperland!!! We hope he can stay calm and contained a little while longer so things can heal the way they need to!!!

The new pen looks pretty cozy! I wouldn't mind curling up in there next to Wally for a while!
I'm sad to hear about the pin being possibly broken, but I'm hopeful that his super strong scar tissue will keep everything where it needs to be!!! Thinking of you guys!!
The pin won't have to come out, and may well have done it's job, keeping the bones together while scar tissue formed and muscles are built back up. We just have to keep him low-key and let him getting super strong.
We loves the Pug Pen! Walter, you's doing great and we hope you can stay calm long enough to get ALL better!
best pen ever!
Hi Heather & Walter! I love the pug pen and I wish I could play in there with you, but I know you can't have visitors in there.
You are getting stronger every day and don't let this pin business be a setback in your mind. The scar tissue has formed and the bones are together, so things are looking good.

I'm sure you were a little disappointed that Walter still needs Scamperland.... But if that was the surgeon's biggest worry, then I'd still say it's a great triumph! I'm glad Walter isn't as ambitious as Brutus - I'd have to build a roof over the pen to have any remote hope of keeping him in it, unless I moved in there myself!!

What a great looking pug pen! It's easy to see that Walter is feeling full of himself these days. It's fun to see.
That is an awesome pen! if one more month of scamper land means one less surgery, I bet it will work just fine. They are waiting for the scar tissue and bone growth to fully cement, right?
Walter looks so cute with his little but in the air enjoying his bone!
It is so great to see Walter with his butt sticking up in the air! Great new pen and I'm glad he's healing so well :-)
Pug hugs and kisses,
