Big Man home in one hour
Big Man Walter is coming home in ONE HOUR I am am so nervous. (Pic above is from last summer, isn't he handsome?) The pic below is the setup I have for walter, it's a playpen and has a mesh top that can go on, to prevent him standing up. I'm worried about the water bowl tipping. Do you guys think a kennel would be better? I thought this might make him feel open-airy and one of the family. what do you guys think?

I would say try it and if it doesn't work then you can get a crate/kennel. They are easily converted into very cushy environments too. Good luck! Give Walter a big kiss from me and Harry.
As long as there is a top so he can't try to jump, I think that looks VERY comfy! Best of luck with his recovery! Hugs!
Hi I just wanted to stop by and send some pug love to you and Walter - I will be thinking and praying for a quick recovery :)

The setting looks comfy for him, and since he probably won't be able to move that much at the beginning, I don't think the water bowl will tip. You can always change the setting to fit his needs but the most important thing is there already: TLC.
I think he will be fine for a little while. Once he is able to move more, than you may have to change things. For now all you can do is make him comfortable and love on him.
I agree with Harry. Ttry it, and if it doesn't work, you can change it. I don't think Walter will be all that squirmy in the beginning, though.
