Fence me in!

Walters PT routine is gentle at first. I'm to buy one of these physio balls which he will rock back and forth on, gently, so the pads of his feet get used to touching the ground, and muscles build as he rocks (he is fully supported by human whilst doing this)

He also starts the water treadmill soon. weeeeeeeeee! Look at that little Doxie go!

Okay, today I need to build walter a new pen. 5'x5' is the largest area they want him in. NO scooting, nothing that could damage the screw. I looked online and saw lots of baby gates, pet fences...but they're all so ugly! I am thinking of making a picket fence pen. after all we'll need to look at it for months...shouldn't it be pretty?

Glad to hear that PT got off to a good start. Sounds like you both have lots of work ahead of you!

Good luck on the pen/fence!

Fleet Farm has a pretty nice looking doggie play pen. I've got one for my two pugs. It's lightweight, foldable so easy to move. Has a removable vinyl floor so you can take it outside, a shade to put over the top to protect from too much sun. Under $50. Good luck with PT, Walter, you handsome devil!

Hi Walter! I'm so glad that your PT is going good. I think the physio ball will really help you and that you will not want to get off it when you are better.

That water treadmill looks kind of scary to me, but it will really help too.

I don't know anything about pens so I can't help you there. Please put up your donate button soon so that I can send you my treat money.

Do you get to drink the water when you get tired and thirsty while walking? You know I would be drinking it right away! Glad to see things are going well.
